Dear Clergy and Faithful of the Diocese of Aitape,

The Chrism Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Siby Mathew, HGN, on Holy Thursday, April 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Aitape.

All priests of the diocese are requested to attend for the renewal of priestly promises and the blessing of the Holy Oils.

Holy Oils to be blessed:

• Oil of Catechumens
• Oil of the Sick
• Sacred Chrism

Parish representatives should collect the Holy Oils immediately after Mass for distribution to their parishes.
